In Q3 2024, sentiment in the SME sector slightly worsened, as indicated by the latest EFL Barometer. The main index for Q3 is 51.2 points, down by 1.4 points from the previous quarter, marking the first decline in over a year. However, compared to a year ago, the index is higher, having been 48.1 points.
The report notes that despite the quarterly decrease, there's no cause for concern. This period coincides with summer vacations, impacting business operations temporarily, except for HoReCa. The consistent optimism in new investments by entrepreneurs is highlighted as a positive indicator, suggesting economic growth and development for the country.
The survey shows a notable increase in the proportion of businesses planning increased investments, rising steadily over the past two years.
