Leak detected in Druzhba pipeline, cause yet not known
Late Tuesday night, Polish pipeline operator PERN detected a leak in one of the two lines of the Druzhba pipeline - around 70 kilometers from the city of Plock, PERN said in a press release
The company stated that this is the main line carrying oil to Germany.
"The cause of the incident is unknown at the moment - pumping in the damaged line was immediately shut down. The other line of the oil pipeline is operating without any changes," - the statement said.
