The value of the leasing market during three quarters of this year decreased by 2.4 percent y/y and amounted to PLN 56.9 billion, while during the entire 2019 it could fall by 4.5 percent, Polish Leasing Association (ZPL) said. By the end of 2019, it expects leasing companies to finance investment assets for a total of PLN 78.8 billion.

"On the leasing market, we have a similar situation to that which took place in 2012, when our sector slowed down from double-digit growth to the level of 2011," the association CEO Andrzej Sugajski said.  "This time, due to clear signals regarding the decreasing GDP dynamics, we also expect a slowdown in the development of the leasing market".
