Poles eager to buy Alpine houses
According to the Rellox report on Polish investments in real estate in the Austrian Alps in 2019, as many as 83 percent of Polish customers were interested in buying an apartment. More than half of them thought about real estate at a price range of €251,000-500,000.
As many as 74 percent of buyers were people aged 30-50 and the vast majority (87 percent) were entrepreneurs.
The average price at which Polish investors bought real estate in the Austrian Alps is €394,000.
The report also contains data on Polish tourism. In 2019, Poles were 9th in terms of nationalities coming to Austria. They spent at least 2,129,000 nights in the Alpine country.
