The global payment platform Stripe has entered seven new European markets, including Poland, the company said. Thanks to Stripe, local Internet companies can not only enter the global market faster but also gain the opportunity to develop due to the ability to accept payments from anywhere in the world. Stripe processes transactions into billions of dollars a year for millions of companies, both startups and major global corporations such as Google, Amazon, Uber, and Shopify. Kraków Startup Community, Andcards and Pelvifly are already using Stripe in Poland to offer their goods and services to clients from all over the world.
“In Poland, there are many entrepreneurial and technological talents. We believe that there are even more companies in this country that can develop their business also globally. Our goal is to allow as many Polish companies as possible to show their creativity and ambition to the rest of the world,” Felix Huber, EMEA’s region director in Stripe, stressed.
