Polish President Andrzej Duda signed the act on postal voting in the presidential elections 2020. The Act will enter into force the day after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
On Thursday morning, the Sejm rejected the Senate's objection to this bill. The day before it was announced that PiS and the Agreement had prepared a solution for this year's presidential election. As it was announced "after the deadline of May 10, 2020, and the anticipated annulment by the Supreme Court, in view of their failure, the Speaker of the Sejm will announce new presidential elections as soon as possible".
Still, till the Sunday evening there was no confirmed date of presidential election.
