Developers cut out of MFIPR’s new support program

Minister Krzysztof Paszyk has unveiled a new housing support program, replacing the criticized "Kredyt na start". The initiative excludes developers, focusing solely on purchasing homes from the secondary market.
The program limits price per square meter to PLN 10,000 nationwide and PLN 11,000 in five major cities, with local governments allowed to adjust thresholds. Sellers must own the property for at least five years, and only Polish citizens qualify.
Additionally, PLN 2.5 billion will be allocated to social and municipal housing, with a goal of 6,500 new units by 2026. The program aligns with coalition agreement commitments but remains open to legislative adjustments before finalization.
