Dolna Odra power plant launched, provides 683 MWe
On August 14, 2024, the Polimex Mostostal and GE consortium commissioned the gas-steam unit No. 9 with a capacity of 683 MWe at the Dolna Odra Power Plant, part of the PGE Group. Unit No. 10 is scheduled to be commissioned by September 30. The original contract, signed in January 2020, planned completion by December 2023, but was delayed. A revised schedule now sets final commissioning by April 30, 2024. The contract for constructing both units is valued at approximately PLN 4.73 billion. Polimex Mostostal continues to diversify its projects beyond energy, including significant ongoing works for PGE.
