Food prices will not go up in Poland - Ardanowski

There is no risk of an increase in food prices in Poland in the coming months although there will be some slight changes, Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, Minister of Agriculture said at a press conference on Thursday.
The minister informed that according to the data of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Food Economy, bread prices in June may be higher by 4-5 percent compared to the prices from the previous year. Prices of dairy products will be similar to the ones in 2018. "Small" increase in sugar prices is possible, which - as he pointed out - is currently "very low". In Ardanowski's opinion, butter, eggs, and fruit will be cheaper.
