The GDP growth rate in Poland will be 4.3 percent in 2019, and then in 2020, it will slow down to 3.6 percent. and in 2021 to 3.3 percent, World Bank analysts predict.
“The growth rate of the Polish economy may reach 4.3 percent in 2019 due to growing private consumption and recovery in investment. In the following years, however, the economy may slow down, as the economic situation in the EU is slowing, and in Poland, there is a growing shortage of employees,” World Bank’s report reads.
In April, World Bank economists expected that in 2019 economic growth in Poland would amount to 4.0 percent. The forecast for 2020-2021 has been maintained at 3.6 and 3.3 percent, respectively.
