GUS: 30,349 companies registered in REGON in May, down 10,8 % m/m
In the REGON register (Rejestr Gospodarki Narodowej) in May 2024, 30,349 companies were registered; 10.8% fewer m/m - according to GUS.
GUS reports that the decline was observed for trading companies (by 19.9%) and individuals conducting business activities (by 9.7%).
In May 2024, 15.6 thousand entities were simultaneously deregistered from the REGON register, which is 19.6% less than in the previous month.
The number of companies with suspended operations was 747,721, indicating a decrease of 0.4% m/m.
