GUS: at end of ‘23, there were 15.3 mln apartments in Poland

By the end of 2023, Poland had 15.3 million residential units, a 1.3% increase from 2022, according to GUS. The total usable area reached 1,190.7 million square meters, up by 1.5%, containing 60.5 million rooms (a 1.3% increase).

Compared to 2022, the number of apartments rose by 204,100, usable area expanded by 17.75 million square meters, and the number of rooms grew by 753,300. Of these, 10.7 million apartments were located in cities, covering 694.4 million square meters and comprising 37.5 million rooms.
