3 stages, 70 speakers, almost 1000 participants, over 250 1:1 business meetings and 3 "round tables" discussion events, which gathered a total of 120 people - this is how the past edition of Infoshare Katowice 2024 looks in numbers. The conference was a platform for exchanging knowledge about gaming, DEV, artificial intelligence, technology and innovation.
During Infoshare Katowice 2024, Tomasz Rożek from Nauka. To Lubię spoke, who took the participants on a journey through the world of megatrends - digitization, artificial intelligence, biotechnology and demographic changes. Jowita Michalska from Digital University looked for answers, among others, to the question of how human augmentation, neurobiohacking and other modern technologies will push the boundaries of human possibilities. On the other hand, Artur Kurasiński talked about why it is currently so difficult to predict the near future of individual industries.
How to build and scale resilient technology businesses?
There was also a panel focusing on building sustainable and resilient technology businesses. This was discussed by Jarosław Sroka from KI NEXT, Bartosz Majewski from Casbeg, Kinga Piecuch from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Polska and Wojciech Wolny from Euvic S.A. The experts emphasized that success is not only the ability to survive crises, but also flexibility in adapting to changing conditions.
AI changed by all cases
Michał Sadowski presented AI tools supporting efficiency, innovation and creativity in the business environment. Paula Skrzypecka translated the AI Act from legal language into Polish. Mateusz Biliński focused on risks, limitations and dangers both in the use of systems based on artificial intelligence and their creation. Sylwia Czubkowska talked about the climate costs of AI development.
Networking and accompanying events
Infoshare is not only inspiring lectures, but also a space for establishing business relationships. During the conference, there were as many as 250 Matchmaking meetings, i.e. 30-minute meetings with representatives of companies and investors of your choice, and almost 300 Speed Dating conversations - short, non-binding meetings with other conference participants. Additionally, as many as 120 people took part in Round Tables - moderated thematic discussions with experts and people from the industry.
