Costa del Sol Attracts Remote Workers from Across Europe and Beyond

Costa del Sol is becoming one of Europe’s top destinations for remote workers. EU citizens can relocate visa-free, while non-EU nationals benefit from Spain’s digital nomad visa, allowing remote work for up to five years.
According to the Global Digital Nomad Report, Spain ranks first among 65 countries for digital nomads. Cities like Málaga, Marbella, and Fuengirola are popular with Poles, Germans, and Scandinavians, offering top-tier infrastructure, coworking spaces, and flexible rental options.
“Remote professionals enjoy 320 days of sun, excellent internet, and modern coworking hubs from €15 per day,” Joanna Ossowska-Rodziewicz of By-Bright Real Estate said.
With 25 percent of Málaga Province’s population being foreign-born, the region boasts a multicultural atmosphere and widespread English usage. The Beckham Law tax scheme further appeals to remote workers, offering reduced income tax for newcomers.
