Job Offers Barometer increases in August – BIEC, WSIiZ
The Job Offers Barometer, indicating changes in the number of employment offers published on the Internet, increased in August 2019 compared to the July reading, according to the Investment and Economic Cycles Office (BIEC) and the Department of Macroeconomics at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (WSIiZ).
The value of the index in August was 260.6 points against 258.1 points in July.
“The barometer adopted a lower value than a year ago. High employment costs remain an important factor limiting the increase in the number of job offers,” the report reads.
