Kroll Bond Rating Agency issued Poland's long-term rating in foreign currency at "A" and in national currency at "A", according to the agency's report dated September 13. The outlook for both ratings is stable. KBRA also issued a short-term rating for Poland in a foreign currency at "K1" and in the national currency at "K1".
According to the agency, the rating reflects the stable macroeconomic environment in Poland, deepening integration with the EU, a solid profile of public finances, a flexible system of exchange rates and high flexibility of financing.
The rating is, in turn, limited by the weak demographic profile of Poland, the expected slowdown in economic growth along with a decrease in the level of EU funding, a relatively increased burden of external debt and concerns related to respect for the rule of law and deterioration of the country's institutional framework, the report said.
