I am very sorry that my unvaccinated friends are leaving: Monika Richardson

Monika Richardson, a journalist, admits that although many people have already got used to the pandemic reality and have adapted their lifestyle to the new conditions, she simply and conveniently is tired of this situation. Her elements are meetings and conversations with people, not via the Internet, but face to face.

"This pandemic is our new reality. Pretending that in a moment we will return to the situation from 2019 is stupid and naive. Of course, we are all sorry, and especially me, because I believe that interpersonal interaction, interpersonal contacts, touching, smiling, being close, physically also, that is the basis of social functioning," she said.

As she assured, the vaccine largely gave her a sense of security. She also regrets that despite the dramatic statistics, many people still disregard doctors' recommendations.

"I am very sorry that my friends, close and distant, unvaccinated, who did not take to heart the fact that although the vaccine probably has side effects and it is not fun to be vaccinated, it is the lesser evil. Plus, this could save our lives," Monika Richardson added.
