According to the website prawo.pl, the rules regarding covering the mouth and nose have changed since November 28. At work, from now on, the mask must be worn wherever there is more than one person. The regulation will apply until December 27, 2020.
Until now, the mouth and nose in the workplace had to be covered when serving clients. Apart from these cases, the persons performing official duties did not need to wear a mask. However, this has changed drastically. The new regulations in force from November 28 introduce an obligation to cover the mouth and nose in workplaces if there is more than one person in the room, regardless of other factors. This means that the mask will have to be worn in an open space, even when the distance of 1.5 m is kept, and even in the canteen, during a meal. According to Jakub Kowalski, partner in the Mirosławski, Galos, Mozes Legal Advisors Office at praca.money.pl, the new wording of the regulations is bizarre. Because according to the ordinance, no more than one person can stay in the canteen during a meal, otherwise how else to eat without removing the mask?
There are of course exceptions to the above rules. At work, they do not need to wear masks, for example priests celebrating masses or city bus drivers.
