According to a report by UCE RESEARCH and Shopfully, 46.7 percent of Poles believe their purchasing power will increase y/y, yet they still plan to save. Among surveyed Europeans, only Austrians are slightly more optimistic, with 46.9 percent sharing this outlook.

In Poland, this positive sentiment is most common among individuals earning a net monthly income of PLN 5,000-6,999. Conversely, 35.4 percent of Polish consumers do not expect any improvement in their financial situation. This level of skepticism is more prevalent in other European countries, with France ranking highest, 71.1 percent of respondents there do not foresee better financial prospects.

In Poland, pessimism about purchasing power is primarily expressed by those earning between PLN 1,000 and 2,999 per month. Despite signs of improving economic confidence, the report highlights continued caution and a strong tendency to save across income groups.
