In recent weeks, the Polish Internet has been rocked by the revelations of criminal acts committed by individuals who, until recently, were considered authorities by many. Unfortunately, Pandora Gate is just the tip of the iceberg regarding pedophilia in Poland. From July 2021 to July 2022, a staggering 318 cases related to offenses against the sexual freedom and morality of minors under 15 years old were reported to the State Commission for Clarifying Cases of Acts Against the Sexual Freedom and Morality of Minors.

In the context of Pandora Gate, it is crucial to mention the phenomenon of so-called "substitute pedophilia," as highlighted by Aleksandra Dejewska-Wysogrocka, a psychologist and eating disorder therapist, and owner of Dejewska Clinic.

“This disturbing practice involves perpetrators maintaining sexual contact with both adults and minors. Often, these individuals are rationalized by others who believe they lead normal lives. Their actions are justified, responsibility is denied, and even victims are sometimes accused,” explains the expert.

"First and foremost, it's important to monitor the websites your child visits and the content creators they follow. Pay attention to age restrictions and the content presented by YouTubers," Aleksandra Dejewska-Wysogrocka advised.
