Perfect advisor for uncertain times: study

Honest, with an individual approach, patient and trustworthy, and at the same time professional and committed – this is the image of an ideal advisor who emerges from the report "Good Agent. Good Advisor” prepared by MetLife. It turns out that Poles value such trustees and trust them – the vast majority, because almost 85 percent of respondents declare that they trust their insurance agent. This result, unattainable for many industries, puts them at the forefront of advisors for uncertain times.
Expectations of Poles towards agents are clear – 63.5 percent of respondents expect honesty from their advisor, i.e. a clear presentation of the pros and cons of the presented solution. Poles also want an individual approach (49.5 percent), as well as patience while explaining all doubts (37.9 percent). What's more, we want to be able to trust our insurance advisor (40.7 percent). Relatively few respondents count on the fact that an insurance advisor will be interested in our personal situation – only one in four respondents (26.5 percent) answered so.
The study showed that the most important features determining the selection of an insurance agent include honesty and transparency when presenting the terms of the contract, which is appreciated by as much as 97.2 percent of respondents. Another very important criterion in the agent's assessment is also his professional knowledge of finance and insurance – 94.3 percent of respondents said so. Poles also believe that help in determining what insurance we need is important.
