PKO Bank Polski paid the highest amount of corporate income tax (CIT) for 2018, the institution said. According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, subsequent places on the list of the largest CIT payers for the previous year took: PKN Orlen, Bank Pekao, Santander Bank Polska and ING Bank Śląski.
“In total, due to various types of taxes, the PKO Bank Polski capital group supplemented the central budget and budgets of local governments with PLN 3.5 billion last year,” the bank stated.
