In the third quarter of 2024, Poland recorded a 14.4 percent increase y/y in housing prices, placing it second in the EU, according to Eurostat. Bulgaria led with a 16.5 percent rise, while Hungary followed at 13.4 percent. Meanwhile, France saw the largest decline, with a 3.5 percent drop.
Quarter-over-quarter, EU housing prices rose by 1.4 percent, with Poland’s growth at 1.6 percent, ranking 13th. Bulgaria again topped the list with a 3.9 percent increase, while Finland and Estonia saw slight declines.
Since 2010, housing prices in Poland have risen by 98 percent, ranking 10th in the EU. Estonia and Hungary experienced the highest growth at 230 percent, while Italy was the only country with a decline, down by 4 percent.
For rental prices, the EU saw a 3.2 percent increase y/y. Poland’s rents have risen by 80 percent since 2010, ranking fifth. These trends highlight Poland's strong housing market growth.
