The largest transfer from the EU in Poland's membership history has just been received – totaling PLN 27 billion – announced on platform X (formerly Twitter) by Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.
"PLN 27 billion – the largest transfer from the EU in the history of our membership – has just been received in Poland," Nałęcz wrote.
The European Commission approved Poland's first request for payment from the KPO in early April, with €6.3 billion expected to be received by April 15, 2024.
