Polenergia launches photovoltaic farm in Słupsk with 45 MWp capacity
Polenergia has launched a solar farm in Słupsk, Poland. The Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm has a capacity of 45 MWp, capable of powering 24,000 households with green energy. Located in Pomorze, this is Polenergia's fifth solar power plant. The annual production of the Strzelino farm is estimated at about 48 GWh, matching the yearly electricity needs of 24,000 homes. The farm comprises over 73,000 photovoltaic modules and several medium and high voltage transformer stations connected by nearly 10 kilometers of cables to the local distribution grid.
This initiative boosts Polenergia's renewable energy capacity to 574 MW and complements their existing wind farms.
