Despite 84 percent of Polish companies prioritizing digital transformation, only 40 percent have achieved basic technology adoption, compared to the EU average of 55 percent.

“Digital skills are essential across all areas, not just IT. Companies struggle to keep up, with gaps in data analysis, digital sales, and advanced financial tools,” Joanna Mihułka-Petru, CEO of Altkom Academy, said.

EY’s “Digital Transformation 2024” report shows the biggest impacts on customer service (47 percent), sales (43 percent), and logistics (36 percent). However, many businesses remain unprepared, with Polish firms falling behind the EU average in advanced technology adoption, according to the World Bank.
