The Polish drugstore chain Natura, operating since 1997, has been acquired by the German fund Mutares, after previously being purchased by the Polish company Pelion. Natura, with over 200 stores, faced financial difficulties, leading to the closure of some locations. As part of a restructuring plan, Pelion decided to sell the chain, hoping for further growth under new ownership. Mutares, a company specializing in restructuring and investing in medium and large enterprises, sees potential in improving Natura's operational activities.
The transaction is awaiting approval from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
