Nearly 60% of working Poles believe they earn too little relative to their skills, with only 27% feeling their current pay is adequate. Despite dissatisfaction, over half (54%) do not plan to change jobs soon, while 37% intend to switch this year. Just 23% managed to negotiate a raise in the past year.
In the second quarter, job listings fell by nearly 28% compared to the first quarter, but there are expectations of a recovery in the fall, with projections suggesting four times more hiring than layoffs this year. Effective job search methods include job portals (used by two-thirds) and referrals from friends (49%), while social media is the least effective, with only 13% success. This report is based on a survey of employed individuals aged 18 to 64 conducted by No Fluff Jobs, a leading IT job portal.
