The new generation of Polish economy during the 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium
We’re entering economy 4.0. For some, it’s a revolution, for others a natural turn of events resulting from the development of the Polish market.

We’re entering economy 4.0. For some, it’s a revolution, for others a natural turn of events resulting from the development of the Polish market.
It’s certainly an opportunity to create new fields of economy related to process automation, autonomous vehicles or virtual reality. Current transformation creates new business opportunities and drives growth. These changes must be accompanied by the development of telecommunications infrastructure which is the pillar of industry 4.0. To be up to date and keep up with the transformations taking place, you have to take part in the 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium which will be taking place on 3rd-4th of April 2019 in Warsaw.
Revolution in the world
of wireless connections
5G is an increasingly popular term used in the context
of mobile internet development. IoT, autonomous cars and machine digitalisation
are just some of the innovative solutions that would not have been available
were it not for the new generation of the internet that we are all waiting for.
Added to this are issues related to Smart City or virtual reality. What will our
streets look like in the perspective of 10 or 20 years? Are we ready for
transformation? 5G is not only high hopes, but also lots of preparation from
Polish businesses. Implementation requires changes in the regulations governing
issues related to the construction of appropriate infrastructure. The 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium
will be a place in which we will see the fifth generation of connectivity
from various perspectives. Are we ready for these changes, looking at the
Polish economy, suppliers, production companies or the final user? How do we
rate the attempts of implementing this network in Łódź, or the center of
Warsaw?
National Cloud
50% is the percentage of enterprises using cloud
services in the most technologically advanced countries. To compare, it is only
10% in Poland. This may change soon. In 2020, the National Cloud is planned for
both Polish administration and business. This will start a completely new phase
in the digital development of domestic enterprises. For some time now, the
trend of promoting cloud solutions has become very visible, both in the private
and public sectors throughout Europe. It’s a modern and effective solution
which can’t be missing from the agenda of the 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium. It’s here that the
presidents of the largest Polish companies, representatives of public
administration and government will meet to jointly discuss the current state
and the future of the National Cloud. Many large, private companies have
decided to migrate to the cloud. What reflections do they have? What are their
comments about the idea of a shared economy model for all governmental
institutions and councils?
Earlier editions of this project took place under the
name of the Telecommunications and Media World Symposium. The rebranding which
is taking place is a reflection of the changes in the market towards the
digital industry. - The ICT and Infrastructure World
Symposium will be devoted to the development of very important fields of
the economy, such as telecommunications and IT, in the context of the
developing Polish economy. We will talk about what the economy need from
operators today and what challenges telecom operators or IT service providers
face. Teleinformatics and infrastructure are areas of knowledge and development
that are already becoming the driving force of economy 4.0, which is the
foundation of the strategy for the balanced development of the government of
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki - says Piotr Muszyński, Chairman of the Advisory Board, Founder &
President, FixMap.
The first day of the 18th ICT and Infrastructure World Symposium
will be concluded with the Golden
Antenna Grand Gala.
