The U.S. President Donald Trump canceled on Thursday his trip to Poland scheduled for September 1 and 2 as hurricane Dorian is approaching Florida. "It's something very important for me to be here. This storm looks like it could be a very, very big one," he said. Dorian may be the first Category 4 or higher hurricane to hit the east coast of Florida since 1992 when 40 people died in Hurricane Andrew.
Vice President Mike Pence will go to Poland instead of Trump. During his visit to Warsaw, Trump was supposed to mark the 80th anniversary of World War II outbreak. He also had scheduled meetings with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
