Tusk: ‘A divided Europe will be the next target for Russia’

Armed Europe, ready to provide financial support to Ukraine, will deter Russian aggression, says Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Speaking alongside Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala in Prague, Tusk emphasized the need for a strong, unified, and armed Europe willing to support Ukraine with equipment, ammunition, and funds. He argued that a divided Europe unwilling to arm itself would be vulnerable to Russian attacks. Tusk called for increased defense spending by NATO countries, particularly in Europe, and suggested the immediate activation of frozen Russian assets in European, American, and Japanese banks to support Ukraine.
According to CNN and Reuters, these assets generate billions in profits, with over €269 billion frozen in G7, EU, and Australian countries, mainly in Belgium.
