Ukrainian agricultural products can only enter Poland in transit

The regulation of the Minister of Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda, regarding the ban on importing agricultural products from Ukraine to Poland, which allows for the transit of agricultural goods from Ukraine through Polish territory, has come into force. It replaces the current total ban on the import of these products to Poland, including transit.
The regulation was supposed to come into force at midnight, but as the media noticed, it was only published in the Journal of Laws around 2 am. Since it comes into force on the day of the announcement, it applies from Friday (April 21) and will remain in force until June 30.
Transportation of goods through Poland will be possible based on EU regulations on external transit or based on the Convention on Common Transit Procedures, drawn up in Interlaken, provided that transit through our country ends at the seaports of Gdansk, Gdynia, Swinoujscie or Szczecin or outside the territory of the Republic of Poland.
