In Q2 2024, Poland's unemployment rate, measured by the Labor Force Survey (BAEL), was 2.7%, down from 3.1% in the previous quarter but slightly up from 2.6% in Q2 2023. The unemployment rate was the same for both men and women.
Active employment in the population aged 15-89 was 58.3%, lower than both Q1 2024 and Q2 2023 by 0.2 percentage points. The employment rate was 56.7%, slightly higher than in Q1 2024 but lower than in Q2 2023. Men had a higher employment rate (63.8%) compared to women (50.2%).
