According to a recent report, as many as 72.7 percent of Poles aged 18-35 view favorably the solution currently being developed by the Ministry of Justice, which would allow divorces to be obtained at a notary's office without involving the courts. In contrast, 11.3 percent of respondents oppose the idea, while 16 percent have not yet formed an opinion.
Supporters of this option are primarily those earning over PLN 9,000 net per month and living in Poland's largest cities. On the other hand, opponents typically have a monthly income of PLN 7,000-8,999 and are generally residents of villages and towns with populations of up to 5,000.
