37% of Poles claim to have limited knowledge about finance

The "Level of Financial Knowledge of Poles" study indicates that 37% of respondents rate their financial knowledge as low or very low, with 34% considering it average. The average self-assessment stands at 2.85, with younger, older, and less educated individuals rating their knowledge the lowest.
Despite a growing trend in knowledge-seeking behavior, President of the Polish Bank Association Tadeusz Białek notes persistent low levels of financial literacy. Online sources like portals and blogs are the primary knowledge providers for 59% of respondents. Moreover, there's a lack of awareness regarding financial instruments, with significant percentages unfamiliar with bonds, options, and other market products.
The study, conducted via CATI, surveyed 1000 adult Poles.
