Half of Polish Consumers Shop Both Online and In-Store

recent international survey reveals that 50 percent of Polish consumers now combine online and offline shopping, reflecting a growing trend of hybrid retail behavior. Meanwhile, 31 percent of shoppers prefer only brick-and-mortar stores, and 19 percent rely exclusively on e-commerce.
For Polish consumers, the top reason for shopping online is convenience, cited by 78.5 percent of respondents. This trend is mirrored across Europe, including Spain (72 percent), Italy (64 percent), France (53 percent), and Hungary (51 percent).
Despite the convenience of digital retail, traditional stores remain attractive. The leading reason Poles visit physical shops is the ability to see, touch, or try products, with 76 percent of respondents naming it as their main motivation. This hands-on experience remains the key draw in all surveyed countries.
The findings underline the importance for retailers to embrace omnichannel strategies, offering seamless experiences both online and in-store to meet evolving customer preferences and shopping habits in Poland and beyond.
