84% of home owners have introduced at least one thermal modernization solution

A study commissioned by ING Bank Śląski found that over 84% of single-family homeowners and 82% of apartment owners in Poland have implemented at least one thermal modernization solution.
According to Andrzej Sowa from ING Bank Śląski, this openness to energy-saving measures, driven by both financial savings and environmental benefits, requires support from banks in terms of both information and financing.
Common upgrades include energy-efficient lighting (60%), wall insulation (57%), and window replacement (48%). Apartment owners often rely on housing associations for major upgrades, with 77% focused on wall insulation. Financial concerns are critical, with many viewing these investments as viable only with subsidies or loans.
