Amber Gold: court continues to read out verdict
The District Court in Gdańsk planned to finish announcing its verdict in the Amber Gold case today by applying new provisions that allow for the reading out of verdicts to be shortened. However, judge Lidia Jedynak announced that she would continue to publish the sentence in a manner consistent with the current regulations. Therefore, we will get to know the penalties for Marcin P. and Katarzyna P. no sooner than at the end of September. The court began to announce the verdict on May 20. As of the beginning of August, 19 of the 60 volumes of files had still not been read out by the court.
