BrainScan, a med-tech company specializing in AI-based analysis of head CT scans, is currently acquiring an additional 150,000 scans. It has assembled one of the world's largest databases with nearly 94 million individual CT images. The company’s infrastructure, including high-performance computing resources, is housed at the TASK Computing Center, where it utilizes the Kraken supercomputer from Gdańsk University of Technology.
Since its debut on NewConnect in May, BrainScan has secured new partners and signed its first commercial contract through a public tender. The company’s AI system can currently detect 30 brain pathologies and aims to expand to include new conditions and modalities. The database and computational power will support the development of more advanced algorithms and accommodate future growth.
BrainScan has also entered agreements with several hospitals and plans to enhance its international server capabilities to ensure data security and flexibility.
