Creotech looking for remedies for failure to receive data from EagleEye satellite
After a period of stable orbital operation for the EagleEye satellite and completion of basic subsystem tests, significant issues with bidirectional communication were identified, preventing data reception from the satellite. Creotech Instruments announced on Sunday evening that these issues are considered persistent.
The two likely causes are inaccurate satellite positioning, leading to incorrect alignment of the ground communication antenna, or insufficient power on the satellite. Remedial measures are being implemented for both scenarios.
Previously, Creotech had reported stable operation of the EagleEye platform and successful communication during 30 windows between August 17-18. The company had also achieved a key mission milestone by establishing contact with the satellite after its launch. Creotech Instruments, Poland's largest space technology provider, went public on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2022, transitioning from NewConnect.
