Decisive factor for choosing employer, for 61% of Poles, is salary

According to the SD Worx "Payroll Navigator 2024" survey, about 61% of Poles consider salary as the key criterion when choosing an employer. This sentiment is common across Europe, with 60.4% of European employees prioritizing salary. Croatia tops the list with 73.1%, followed by Serbia (69.1%) and Finland (67.5%). Denmark is at the bottom, with only 47.4% prioritizing salary. In Poland, 60.7% rank salary as most important, placing it 9th in Europe.

After salary, Polish employees value work atmosphere (37.4%) and job security (37%). Factors like work location and additional vacation days follow. Advanced technology and ESG involvement are less significant, with 92.4% and 89.8% of Poles respectively not considering them critical.
