Diversity in the workplace: Poles between acceptance and fear

Although most Poles are unfamiliar with the term DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), they have strong views on diversity in society and workplaces, according to a study by LoveBrands and SW Research. Nearly two-thirds support equal opportunity regardless of gender, age, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, with younger and older respondents showing the most support.
Diversity in age is most accepted, while religious and national diversity face more resistance. While many see DEI promoting fairness and reducing inequality, 62% fear it could be misused for political or corporate agendas. Workplace diversity, especially regarding disabilities, is widely accepted, suggesting opportunities for more inclusive hiring practices.
