Economists at Credit Agricole Bank Poland anticipate an economic revival in the Eurozone and in Poland in 2024, likely boosting foreign investments in Poland. They estimate that a 1 percentage point decrease in Eurozone GDP growth reduces the growth rate of foreign firm investments in Poland by around 1.3 percentage points.
They project Eurozone GDP growth to increase from 0.7% in 2023 to 1.5% in 2025, stimulating foreign business investments. The decline in investments in recent quarters was primarily due to a slowdown in construction investments and the impact of the Ukraine war.
However, they expect a reversal of this trend soon, supported by improving economic conditions domestically and abroad.
