Transaction processing company Euronet limits cash withdrawals from its ATM network. Customers and banks are dissatisfied, because they have to pay a commission for each withdrawal made by their customers.
You can withdraw as much as PLN 1,000 at one time from an Euronet ATM. This does not mean that one customer can not charge a larger amount per day. He can, but must repeat the transaction several times if needed, e.g. PLN 4,000. Previously, this amount could be withdrawn at once.
Ewa Miziołek, director of marketing and sales support at Euronet Polska, explains that the network has introduced restrictions because Poles took too much money from their machines.
“Due to the significant increase in the unit value of cash withdrawals in recent months, we have introduced a temporary limit of one-off transactions in the amount of PLN 1,000 in some of our devices. The limit has been introduced to ensure as many clients as possible can access to cash in the Euronet network,” she explained,
