Approximately 66% of Poles declare that they do not segregate waste, while around 58% of Poles believe that segregation makes sense, according to a survey prepared by ARC Market and Opinion and the Responsible Business Forum. Only 15% of the respondents correctly answered all questions about how to sort waste properly. As many as 75% of those surveyed did not know that dirty metal and plastic packaging should not be rinsed before being thrown away, the study said. According to the authors of the study, 76% of Poles have never heard of carbon footprint.
