Fewer Employees Report Daily Stress, but Polish Women Are Still Affected
Source: ADP Research

According to ADP Research, global workplace stress levels have declined, with 7.5 percent of employees experiencing daily stress in 2024, down from 15 percent in 2023. However, Polish women remain disproportionately affected – 12 percent report daily stress versus 7 percent of men.

In Poland, 32 percent of employees view stress as motivating, while 13 percent feel overwhelmed, one of the lowest rates in Europe. Yet, criticism for using flexible work models remains high, with 41 percent of Poles feeling judged, well above the global average of 32 percent.

“There’s a strong link between stress frequency and how it’s perceived,” Mary Hayes of ADP said.

Frequent stress leads to overload, while lower levels can boost growth. Nela Richardson of ADP added that lack of trust and perceived monitoring at work also raise stress levels. Overwhelmed workers are more likely to seek new jobs, while those managing stress well tend to stay.
