Finances and Household Chores To Be the Leading Sources of Stress for Poles

Poles are a highly stressed society, with over half citing financial worries as a major concern. According to a recent survey by ARC Rynek i Opinia for VELUX Polska, 53 percent of respondents say money is their top stressor, followed by daily issues (47 percent), family relationships (45 percent), and work (43 percent). Household responsibilities also weigh heavily, troubling 32 percent of respondents.
One of the most common domestic worries is whether appliances were turned off before leaving home – 32 percent stress about this, while 31 percent fear missing bill payments. Concerns also include open doors (26 percent) and windows (15 percent). Notably, 83 percent say having a rain sensor in roof windows would ease their anxiety over leaving windows open.
Irritation (46 percent) is the most frequent emotional response to such stress. While 28 percent repeatedly check if everything is secure, only 11 percent say they quickly move on from household-related worries.
