According to Mirosława Chyr,  the spokesman of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, a decision was made to submit a request for the provisional arrest of former Minister of Transportation Sławomir Nowak (he agreed to the publication of the name), former GROM’s military unit commander Dariusz Z. and businessman Jacek P. As reported by Mirosława Chyr, all of them were questioned as suspects.

"All these people heard the charges today and have now been taken to the detained room. The prosecutor has made a decision to apply to the court to apply the most severe preventive measure, i.e. pre-trial detention. At the moment, the prosecutor is drawing up three such requests for three detained persons,” Chyr said.

At the same time, she recalled that Sławomir Nowak heard the accusations of leading an organized criminal group that benefited from corruption offenses. Two others were accused of taking part in these practices.

"We are talking here about the period when Sławomir N. was the president of the Ukrainian road service, i.e. the years 2016-2019. The total value of the property benefit obtained from committing corruption offenses amounted to PLN 1.3 million," Chyr said.

All three suspects did not plead guilty to the alleged offenses.
