In Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), 90 percent of leaders share this optimism, with organic growth, private equity, and strategic partnerships driving development. Energy prices, economic uncertainty, and competition remain the top barriers.
In Poland, 92 percent of executives predict business growth, and 82 percent saw revenue increases in 2024. Key priorities for 2025 include international expansion (36 percent), cost-cutting (30 percent), and IT transformation (28 percent). Popular expansion targets include Germany, the U.S., and the Czech Republic.
Although 60 percent of Polish firms have digital strategies, fewer executives believe in strong returns from tech investment compared to global peers. Despite challenges, business leaders across the region are determined to adapt and compete effectively on a global scale.
