The number of business bankruptcies in the first quarter of 2024 was 100, a decrease of 18.0% compared to the same period last year, as reported by GUS. The decline was observed in industries including manufacturing, construction, trade, vehicle repair, accommodation, and food service. However, bankruptcies increased in transportation and warehousing while remaining unchanged in the information and communication sector.
